What to expect during Worship

We meet at 9:30 AM every Sunday, our worship follows a Lutheran liturgy and includes a children’s time, sermon, and communion every week. One of Rejoice’s blessings is our Choir that sings every week!

We love having kids in worship! Each service will include a children’s time with a message just for them. During the other parts of worship kids are welcome to participate, or play as they would like. Children make the most joyful noise, and our worship leadership loves when kids make themselves known, so please don’t be nervous about your kids being well, kids!

There is a ramp on the left-hand side of our Church. As you enter, you’ll be welcomed by a greeter with a bulletin for the service. You can let them know if you need accommodations, such as being communed from your seat. You’re also welcome to call or email ahead of time about access or concerns you may have.

Of course! We have coffee and light snacks after worship, but bringing your own coffee/tea/etc. when you arrive is welcomed. Most weeks our pastor brings her cup to her seat as well.

Holy Communion is a sacred meal offered to all, every Sunday and during special services. We believe Christ comes to us in the bread and wine, and we share this sacrament as one body. This is not our table, or a Lutheran table, but it is the Lord’s table, truly open to all. You do not need to be a member of the church. We commune children or offer a blessing according to their interest. Alongside the bread and the common cup of wine we also offer white grape juice and provide gluten-free wafers on request.

Our church has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You’ll see some dressed up; some dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire. Masks are now optional; however, please be respectful of those who choose to wear them.
